As it turned out, our admission to Himeji Castle each included a ¥1000 coupon for the castle gift shop or certain restaurants around the city, and this one happened to accept the coupon. For lunch, I got the 7 piece oden set (¥1150) and added 3 extra skewers of beef (600¥). ![[takata-no-baba oden.jpg]] Simon ordered the unagi teishoku set (¥2500). All in all, we thought it was a pretty good deal with the coupon.
